A New Year, New Adventures, and a Special Treat As A Way of Saying Thanks

Happy 2013 everyone! Say goodbye to 2012 and hello to a new year and a new adventure. I’m not sure what this new year holds for Emergency Room Productions, but  I’m hoping that it is a year full of new surprises.

There are some things I know will be happening. The Absolutely True Story of Tom Sawyer As Told By Becky Thatcher will be getting published by Heartland Play Publishers. I know that I’ll be putting some more of my Ten-Minute Plays on-line for competitive speech and drama students (aka forensics). And I know that I’ll be writing more and more this year then I ever have before.

One of my goals this year is to do some speaking to theater students about playwriting, acting, improv, etc. If you’re in Kansas (or a reasonable driving distance) and are interested in me speaking, hit me up here or over at my facebook page. Another goal is to finish my full length children’s play, Puss In Boots and possibly finish my one-act play The Princess and the Pirate. I’d also like to blog more regularly and might try and set an easier goal for me in that regard.

I’d like to thank so many of you for being a part of Emergency Room Productions. Those who have followed me over the years via Facebook and those who have just discovered me through this website. For you I have a special treat for you, my way of saying thanks. I officially unveil the new Emergency Room Productions logo! Can’t wait to hear your thoughts
