Sherlock Holmes and The Terror By Night Train

I’ve been working with some of the most talented actors (including my brother, best friend and awesome new friends) I’ve met for about a month now on the latest Sherri’s Playhouse podcast. I am directing this piece and came up with the story while my writing partner wrote the script. I’m very proud of them and look forward to introducing you to the cast.

So here they are the amazing cast of the Sherlock Holmes mystery, Terror By Night Train.

Stage Review: A Gentleman’s Guide to… and Little Miss Sunshine | TIME.com

This pair of reviews of two current shows based on movies is an interesting read. I recently finished the first draft on a one-act script that I’m hoping to take to the Kansas City Fringe Festival next summer that is also based on a movie. Do movies to stage adaptations play a role in theater? I believe they do, in much the same way that book to stage adaptations play a role, but scripts shouldn’t just be well written, they should posses the HEART of the movie in the show.

Weigh in on the comments.
